Our last stop was Gatlinburg, Tennessee. As Wikipedia says, Gatlinburg is a mountain resort city in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States. It is located 39 miles (63 km) southeast of Knoxville and had a population of 4,144 in 2018. It is a popular vacation resort, as it rests on the border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park along U.S. Route 441, which connects to Cherokee, North Carolina, on the southeast side of the national park. Prior to incorporation, the town was known as White Oak Flats, or just simply White Oak.

We spent a whole Sunday in the Great Smoky Mountains and arrived in Gatlinburg in the evening. The city was so touristic. Within a short walk, we found a world-class aquarium, mini-golf, and mountain coasters, museums and arcades, and countless other attractions for kids and adults alike, right on the Parkway.

When our little girls saw too many attractions in the city, they wanted to try some of them. And then, we decided to let them give a shot at the mirror maze. They really liked it. We also wandered on streets, shopping areas, and cozy markets. And finally, we started our journey back home, Chapel Hill to where takes 5 hours from Gatlinburg.
