Duke forest, small hills, ponds, bridges, golf ground, and more… Al Buehler Trail includes all of those. It is a 3-mile-trail (5-km) near the Duke campus in Durham. We believe that it is one of the best trails in the region where we live.

Bikes and motor vehicles are prohibited in Al Buehler Trail. So you may run or walk. There are also car parking lots.

Although the fall and spring seasons are more beautiful and colorful in Al Buehler, I think you can enjoy it during the winter season. You can see the yellow grasses of Duke Golf Ground on one side and leafless oak trees on the other side of the path.
